The OPA Stencil is a painting template made of acetate plastic.
They are perfect for artistic painting and for applying textures on the most varied surfaces, flat or curved, such as: fabric, wood, glass, galvanized metal, paper, and also used in interior decoration (walls, floors, panels, etc.).
How to Use:
Place the Stencil over the area to be worked on and secure it with masking tape or permanent adhesive.
Use a stiff-bristle brush or a sponge beater.
Lightly load the brush with the desired paint and remove the excess paint on a piece of paper or cloth.
Apply over the design and begin painting with circular motions, back-and-forth motions, or by lightly dabbing the desired areas.
Once the painting is finished, carefully remove the Stencil and allow the paint to dry completely.
For textures and high relief, apply them over the design with a plastic or metal spatula. Remove excess to avoid smudging the outline of the design.
Carefully remove the Stencil and wait for it to dry.
Cleaning:
To remove fresh paint (PVA Paint, Acrylic Paint), wash with soap and water using a soft brush.
To remove Fabric Paint, spray with alcohol and wash with soap and water using a soft brush.
To remove dry paint, soak in soapy water and scrub with a soft brush.
To remove wax patina or solvent-based paint, wipe off the residue with eco-friendly solvent and scrub with soap and water using a soft brush.
After washing your Stencil, allow it to dry completely.
Precautions:
Never use thinner or abrasive solvents.
Do not use heat guns or blow dryers, as they may warp or melt the stencil.
Store the Stencil in a way that prevents it from being bent or creased.
